XL Virtual Airlines has just announced its new 5 times weekly service
between Manchester (EGCC) and San Francisco (KSFO). It is hoped that this
route will bring in some much needed revenue for XL Airways Virtual while
at the same time providing a great air service to our customers in the UK
and in California.

XL Virtual Airlines didn't get the airport spaces in San Francisco easily
though. Accoring to a reputable source XL Virtual Airlines had to aquire
the slots from regional carrier SunAir Express which exchanged the slots
in return for a codeshare on the KSFO-EGCC and return routes so that it
could expand its route network and give a better service to its customers.
